It’s an open secret that when it comes to building resilience, special importance should be given to healthy eating habits. Paying attention to what we eat in the daily rush is not always easy, but Ewa Szabatin argues that even despite the rush of responsibilities it is worth stopping for a moment and taking care of the menu. When it comes to fit nutrition she usually talks about a diet rich in fruits and vegetables but this time the popular dancer lists her favorite spices and herbs that will not only add more flavor to our meals but will also have an invaluable effect on the immune system.

On the list of eleven spices suggested by Szabatin the first position occupies chaste, a plant rich in polyphenols with strong anti-inflammatory properties. For the classic type of cold Ewa recommends lime, which increases the secretion of sweat and thus helps cleanse the body of unnecessary toxins. Purple con eflower comes in third place – it is perfect for brewing an infusion and at the same time it will prove helpful in fighting various viruses or bacteria. There is a reason why it has been used for years to strengthen the immune system.

The healthy eating specialist also likes to use plants such as elderberry, plantain, cinnamon and many other health-promoting additives in her daily diet.
