Organize your schedule so that you always have food ready for the next few hours. It’s a good idea to cook larger portions with a view to freezing them later. This way, time spent on one dish will result in meals for several days.
Plan uncomplicated but healthy meals that you can prepare in less than 30 minutes. Fruit and vegetable shakes or smoothies are great choices, as long as you have a blender in your kitchen. If you need something even more filling, reach for muesli or prepare overnight oatmeal.
Many salads don’t require you to have any special cooking skills other than throwing chopped ingredients into a bowl and mixing them together. If the thought of eating salads every day scares you, don’t worry, there are plenty of tasty recipes that just might work for you.
